Was The Indian Constitution Made Only For Studying In Schools?

I ask you all this, “Was the Indian Constitution made only for studying in schools?” I ask this because from what I am seeing in newspapers and on the news channels, I feel the answer is ‘yes’.  Our Indian Constitution gives us six fundamental rights. 1.        The Right of Equality (Art. 14-18) 2.        The Right of Freedom (Art. 19-22) 3.        The Right against Exploitation (Art. 23-24) 4.        The Right to Freedom of Religion (Art. 25-28) 5.        Cultural and Educational Rights (Art. 29-30) 6.        Right to Constitutional Remedies(Art. 32) Now, do we actually practice these? No, we don’t.  Right of Equality Apparently, according to this right we cannot discriminate on the grounds of religion, caste, creed, sex, place of birth, etc. But why then, despite the...

"REBEL WOMEN DESERVE TO GET RAPED"

Hello. Adab. Namaste. So... I was scrolling through my instagram feed and going through my friends' stories. I saw an IGTV Video continuously being shared on everyone's stories. I was wondering what is it. I clicked it and opened the video. The title of the video said "REBEL WOMEN DESERVE TO GET RAPED", which made me quite curious to see what was it all about. The video was uploaded by a girl named Shivani Gupta. She was visiting a restaurant with her friends where a lady commented on her that if she's wearing a dress, men will ofcourse rape her. I have no words to say after watching that video. I really don't understand the fact that how can women say something like this for other women. After watching the video, some people may tell me or think that if someone has such a thinking then obviously its wrong, but what can we do. There's nothing to make such a havoc out of it. But my dear friends, I would like to say that unless you dont speak up, unless ...

Summing Up These Few Months In One Post

Sorry, for not posting anything. Apologies! These few months many events took place. I was honestly very eager to write about them. Unfortunately, I fell ill and I also had to go out of station and I couldn't take out time for this. We had Girl Child Day celebrated in school with a lot of enthusiasm like every year. Gandhi Corner is the club in our school which manages all of it and I am glad to be a member of it.  We invited girls from many schools and organised competitions for them. All the members of the Gandhi Corner were made incharge of a school, or given some duty or the other. At the end of the event we also distributed gifts to the girls from other schools like school bags, stationery items, utensils, sanitary napkins, etc. We enjoyed a lot with the girls. The girls were very creative in their work, especially in the collage making competition and I was amazed to see their fabulous work. I went for a school trip to Binsar in Uttarakhand during my Dusshera break. It was...

You Owe Me

After all this time The Sun never says to the Earth, "You owe me." What happens with a love like that It lights up the whole sky Maybe that's the love The young lovers are lacking With words only to speak Without any meaning What happens with a love like that It changes the meaning of love From trust to hate And this love comprises of All the beautiful relationships in the world From father-daughter To the young prince and princess From brother-sister To the beautiful understanding relationship which nature has with all the insects And which rain has with the fresh green grass No return is indeed expected No one owes anything to anyone Maybe that's the love Humanity is lacking. ONE MORE TIME

One more time she sat down With her diary and her pen And inked it all down. All that she can never say to anyone The feelings that she has to suppress. As she wrote, the paper got swollen The ink dispersed The hands shook. One more time the tears fell down That she couldn't control anymore Face in her palms She broke down And yet again... She spent her night crying And confiding her feelings in her diary, One more time... SANA

ALLAHABAD DIARIES

A lot had been happening in my life past 1 week. Rajesh uncle's death and then one of my very dear friend's mother passed away the same week. I was shattered and shocked. I believed the fact that anyone can leave us at any moment. Any unexpected thing can happen. Therefore, it's necessary that we cherish the moments that we are living presently. These incidents had led my mother and father to postpone their official work trips. As everything was in a better condition after a week's time, Mummy and Papa decided to complete their work. Papa had to go to Araria and Mummy had to go to Allahabad. I couldn't stay in Lucknow alone so I had to go with Mummy. Although it was just a two days' trip yet I really did not want to go. Somehow Mummy and Papa convinced me to go.  On the morning of 5th June we booked an Ola cab for Charbagh Bus Station. Again an unexpected incident took place. We were on our way and suddenly a big car (probably Duster) came honking at high speed...
